The Level 4 Certificate In Education and Training has replaced both the level 3 and level 4 Certificate In Teaching In The Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) awards. The course is designed to prepare trainee teachers to teach in a wide range of contexts. You will need to have access to 30 hours of teaching practice. This can include recently completed teaching, which is supported by evidence such as session plans, schemes of works or other official documentation.

AIMED AT
This course is aimed at individuals who are currently in a teaching role that are looking to further improve their teaching skills and progress along the pathway to full teacher status in the post 16 sector.
Delegates on this course are not required to be in teaching roles already but who can meet the practice requirements, including the observed and assessed practice requirements. The course is flexible and takes account of the many teaching roles in education which includes one to one teaching.
CERTIFICATION
Successful delegates will receive a Level 4 Certificate In Education and Training from an awarding body within England and Wales who are currently recognised by Ofqual and Department for Education and Skills.
